I am happy to tax hedge fund managers more than 15%. IMO whom you tax is just as important as how much you tax. I don't think we should tax people who earn very little at all but we should tax large corporations more so they will reinvest the money in our economy.

This isn't so much an ideological thing for me but a practical one. I think we should favor the middle class and small businesses over the ultrarich and megacorporations because I think that is where economic growth and employment comes from.

I also think we should lift the income contribution cap for SS (those trying to cut payroll taxes would keel over and die) entirely and fund the system well past the baby boomers.
