Actually, I think the market is rallying for reasons other than the US stimulus package. But even if it were, that doesn't mean the stimulus is the best thing for the economy of the country long-term.

Looking to the market for guidance is what got the wasteful
TARP money out the door last fall. Afterwards, the market continued on its normal bear market downtrend.
