DAK, Did you see that article about the rivers in India that were downstream from the pharmaceutical plants there? Millions of people there get their drinking water from those rivers and those rivers are LOADED with antibiotics. So much for controlling antibiotic usage. We have this new MRSA outbreak where a kid skinned his knee on a football field and was dead 3 days later. There aren't any big bucks in antibiotics these days, so the pharmaceutical giants are hoping that hair growth products and erectile dysfunction cures will raise the self esteem of scientists enough that they will want to develop those things on their own.
