<Think how cheap we could sell our cars in the rest of the world.> Cars? With who's steel? Who's rubber? Input costs will soar as well remember. But I hear you.... in the long run we'll be more competitive. IMHO having as much to do with the (ours and theirs) realization that you can't compete with (or run a country on, for their part) slave labor, burning freakin wood, dumping chemicals into drinking water, etc. than anything else. Funny how everything hits the fan at once... we should have slammed pollution and labour tarrifs on all sorts of countries 20 years ago. Now they'll be screaming bloody murder about prolonging the depression. dAK
