Many places need new schools. It has never made sense to me that schools and teachers are seen as a cost to be minimized rather than an investment to be honored and cherished. An investment that is crucial to our well being.

I agree and I'm not suggesting that schools should be closed or teachers let go in an effort to save money.

I'm suggesting that demographics make those decisions.
