If we can subsidize risk by spreading it around and preventing people from going bankrupt because they get sick I think perhaps that is a good thing...


Such as?

Do you mean like people in an actuarially definable age pool spreading the risk so that people with similar risks can share the average cost of health care for the group?

Do you like making people who choose to be healthy pay the cost of others who consistently make bad health risk choices?
