YOu borrow from your economy and pay it back when you have a surplus. Governments can do that.

Bush did not pay the money back when times were good. He spent it!

So now we are in a mess.

Clinton was paying it back 282 billion surplus his last year!

You are disregarding the existence of emergent phenomena, whereby outcomes occur when people work together that do not occur when they operate separately.

In human societies, the whole is always greater than the sum of the parts. And yes, there is such a thing as society!
