Here is a Question...If A-Rod says that he was under so much pressure because he signed a huge contract then why did he sign that MEGA contract with the Rangers? He could have re-signed with Seattle and had no pressure on him at all. Secondly, if he was under so much pressure then what makes us think that he still isn't taking the new designer drugs because I'm sure he is under more pressure to perform in New York than in Texas or in Seattle. The new HGH like drugs are so tough to trace and A-Rod could be using offshore accounts to make it virtually impossible to know if he is using any type of performance enhancing drug (btw, this is true with many highly paid athletes in MLB today).

This Steroids thing is getting out of hand...I feel that every professional baseball player should have mandatory and random drug tests (including blood tests). MLB isn't doing a good enough job of policing the sport and restoring integrity to the game. Bud Selig still got his $17 Million check for 2008 but I'm not sure he deserved it.
