The ironic thing is that (and I speak PURELY hypothetically) investment banks such as UBS are often responsible for speculative attacks on foreign currencies... wouldn't it be wonderful (for them) if they engineered the attack, made out like bandits there, and then shorted AMAT and the like to get a double dose.

DAX KIMPO, agree that people are underestimating AMAT, cannot say much with INTC.

Perhaps people like me are underestimating the magnitude of problem in ASia are posing to AMAT. But I am certain that this will blow over such as the SUmmer 1996 meltdown. I take my chances. CAveat Emptor.
