Today's Commentary: 10/24/97

Generally speaking, OEM excess inventory levels for CPUs
appear to be rising. This increase is the result of hesitant
buyers awaiting the new pricing structure, scheduled to take
effect early next week. Select step coded Intel Pentiums, that
is P166 in the SY016 revision, have become difficult to find.

All,

Buying Intel 20% below it high is a rare opportunity. I'm not saying the tech wreck is over, but a little averaging in usually makes sense.

It's that FAB in Texas...Wall Steet is always looking to label the chip market cyclical...of course they have been wrong for 15 years running.
