Heck, conservatives are going to be labelled mean anyway (read the LW threads. Just as the liberal is a socialist/fascist(read the RW threads). :) But I think the people who are trying to pass this package should recognize that phenomenon and not get too dragged down into the individual protests. Like marriage counselors who realize that "he doesn't pick up his socks" is just a metaphor for the real problems. I just read that Arlen Spectre is a traitor and should be "shot for sedition" for supporting the stimulus package! Reasoned discussion reigns!
