Gaston: Here is a poor attempt to put things into perspective Step back and take a deep breath. Identify the particular stock you are concerned with today. Pull a five year chart. Pull a three year chart. Pull a one year chart. Pull a three month chart. Take a look at what they have in common. Take a look at where they differ. Derive what logical conclusion you can , based on the knowledge from these few charts. Then decide if the fundamental reason for the rise in the whole market the last few years is sustainable.
