This is typical for us. High winds and the warm temperatures combined to break up the ice. Next week's cold weather probably won't be enough to get enough ice back to walk on.

Sixty miles North the ice is doing just fine.

It hit 65 and sunny yesterday. Gave me a chance to wash the salt off of both cars. Now the cold is coming back but it was a nice break.

They ran the Daytona 500 plus the Pebble Beach Pro Am today. That means winter is getting short. Ok. I know in your area it means 4" of snow rather than 12", but sonofabitch spring is just around the corner.

The pot holes are so bad here I will need new tires this summer and the ones I have now only have 37k on them now. I do remember when a set of tires was good if they lasted 10k.
