This is for pump priming. Debt wont matter if we can grow our way out of it.

Right - for starters the money isn't even really targeted for 2009, almost 80% will be spent in 2010. Given that almost 47% is for tax relief and 53% for "stimulus" that's 800*0.2*.53 or about $85B for all of 2009 - not really much of a stimulus to tell the truth. For supply side tax relief in 2009 it's even less about $75B.

If the desperate need is now - why wait until 2010 to actually stimulate?
