We just started making our own almond milk a month ago. Fantastic stuff. Cheap, quick, easy, tasty, and very healthy. Don't know how I've lived so long without trying the stuff -- making my own, I mean. The pre-made stuff isn't nearly as good. (Bad additives and tastes "weird.")

Haven't had milk or cream in our coffee since we started, nor on our oatmeal. And we don't miss it a bit. In fact, we no longer buy milk or cream at all. We just set out a batch of almonds to soak in the blender each night, change the water in the morning, whip it up in the blender, pour some over the oatmeal and into the coffee, couldn't be easier. And we know exactly what we're getting.

And talk about smoothies? I don't know how anyone can beat a fresh almond milk smoothie for flavor and healthiness.

This is the best stuff since -- SPINACH!
