I would vote in favor. But southern CA would need water from CO, some of which would flow through NM, AZ and/or NV. Might be a problem.

There was a novel written in the 60's--"Ecopia" I think--that had California, Oregon, and Washington seceding and forming one big ecological correct hippie nation.

You get Dollywood

Funny post, but low blow against Dollywood.

They hire retired folks instead of kids to man the rides and shops...gives the whole place a more caring, laid-back feel.

Plus, they have mountain craftsmen onsite, building things the old-fashioned way.

And I used to be the staff tubist.
