There's a pub not far from us, that has seen something comparable, multiple owners with varying degrees of success over thirty-something years ... some had macroeconomic excuses, the bottom fell out of local business in the '81-'83 recession and they lost the pub, but mostly success or failure has seemed to depend on the amount of personal energy the owners put in ... one had his daughter and her boyfriend run it, but skimmed off all surplus cash, that didn't last long before their input was reduced

'old head on young shoulders' - yes, too soon old, too late smart ... but there is something like an old head on young shoulders happening with Jim McDonald of Kootenay, while still wet behind the ears he was in on Hemlo, a great gold play in nineteen eighties Ontario, at a time when there were few geologists coming out of school he got to meet and work with quite a few old-timers ... now, he's among the youngest presidents of quality metals juniors, yet has a surprising amount of hands-on experience and a black book with all the contacts anybody could ask for, plus the respect of most all he's met ... damn i am going to sell you some ktn yet Mq -g- ... enrich you in more ways than one ... are there any speckie startup tech plays worthy of attention any more? ... like Qualcomm, but under twenty millions market cap, you know what i mean

CAPE CANAVERAL, Fla. – Two big communications satellites collided in the first-ever crash of its kind in orbit, shooting out a pair of massive debris clouds and posing a slight risk to the international space station.

NASA said it will take weeks to determine the full magnitude of the crash, which occurred nearly 500 miles over Siberia on Tuesday.

"We knew this was going to happen eventually," said Mark Matney, an orbital debris scientist at Johnson Space Center in Houston.
