We finally got rid of the snow that fell before Thanksgiving. Might get new snow this weekend but at least the old is gone. The lakes had 9" of ice and that is mostly gone. Amazing what 4 nice days in a row will do. It hit 65 yesterday and felt like spring. The top two inches of soil has lost the frost but it's still frozen below that so it's really soggy. The problem has been potholes which are full of salty water that splashs on the vehicles. I've never seen the streets in worse shape. Our NG is supplied by our co-op so with a million members we get a better price which should be lower next year.
