Obama said they were "just tired of being in the White House." Oh, just wait.

Why did Obama feel it necessary to apologize for others' mistakes?

He appeared weak.

While I found Parker's complaining about Palin to be totally out of line, this article really hits the nail on the head about the opening days of the Obama administration.

If one contrasts the last few weeks with the opening weeks of Bush's administration, it is clear the current setup consists of total amateurs who lack basic knowledge required for the jobs they're doing. Very reminiscent of the beginning of the Clinton administration, which was rife with incompetence.

I'm sure a year from now he will look more presidential; he'll HAVE to learn something from a year on the job. But we have to hold our collective breath right now that nothing major happens from a foreign policy perspective.

I don't know that the economic nightmare they're creating is survivable. But I know damned well a serious terrorist attack will destroy any hope we have.

So Far, Amateur Hour
WaPo
By Kathleen Parker
Wednesday, February 11, 2009; A19

The first however-many days of Barack Obama's presidency have been a study in amateurism.

Many suspected that Obama wasn't quite ready, but kept their fingers crossed. Optimistic disappointment is the new holding pattern.

Poor Kathleen Parker......she has to redeem herself if front of her winger peers after going on the Colbert show and writing those nasty but truthful articles on Palin. I expect more articles like this from her but don't post them to me. TIA.
