So Tell Us, Mainstream Media, Who Got Henrietta Her House? by Jeffrey Jena If you took all of the integrity of all of the journalists in the mainstream media and rolled it into a ball it wouldn’t fill a gnat’s navel. Here is just the latest example of their misleading “journalism.” On February 10th, Henrietta Hughes went to a townhall meeting and asked President Obama for some help since she and her son were homeless. How a homeless woman got to the mic to panhandle (“Brother, can you spare a house?”) to the President is another subject. Maybe I’m just overly cynical, but she had to have been vetted. This was not just some spontaneous event, the handlers and the President knew what was coming. Mr. Obama gave her a hug and the phone number to some government bureaucrat’s office. What a great guy! He cares! The next day the media was full of reports that Ms. Hughes and her son had a house. Another miracle by Saint Barack! See, it’s working! Now if you greedy, nasty conservatives would just get on board, the singing of “We Are the World” could begin! But wait, it wasn’t Saint Barack or even the Blessed Michelle who got the house for Ms. Hughes. It wasn’t the government bureaucrat or stimulus package that found the house for these poor folks, either. No, my friends, it was a nice lady named Chene Thompson, and who is Chene Thompson? Is she a “progressive” who cares about her fellow Americans? Is she a Hollywood celebrity? Is she even a Democrat? No. Mrs. Thompson is the wife of a Republican State Representative. What, that’s not possible! Right Wing Nut Jobs are not kind. Only the government can provide for us. Was the word “Republican” even mentioned during the CNN story? Not once. In fact, the piece was edited to give the impression that Mrs. Thompson’s gift was the direct work of Mr. Obama. And now that I’m thinking about it, I don’t think CNN even mentioned the word “Republican” during the next story about Abraham Lincoln’s birthday.

Peanut Corp of America, run by Bush buddy, Stewart Parnell, has declared bankuptcy today after poisoning several Americans. It has been reported that Parnell insisted on shipping tainted peanut paste even after his inspectors caught it. If that is true, he deserves to spend the rest of his life in prison. Bush isn't to blame for the poisoning, but he did appoint Parnell to oversee the quality of peanut paste and peanut butter for the entire industry. I haven't been able to find a Jimmy Carter connection, but you would think they would have to know each other.
