When is it you'll realize that it's not most peoples' faults that they can't find jobs?

When is it you'll realize that we can't all pay each others way. That unemployment is a fact of life and if you compensate people for not working they basically won't work?

Some minimal unemployment compensation is fine. But you can't just pay people to sit at home.

Every penny of that unemployment compensation needs to be conditioned on the recipient doing some useful work -- for the government or whatever.

I wouldn't even mind SOME unemployment benefits for those who are working at McDonalds if the ordinary pay is less than they previously made. But they don't need to be paid for sitting at home.

If I lost my job today Z, I'd receive almost ten dollars an hour unemployment while I went fishing.

Why get a job when being unemployed pays so well?
