Obama had a bill to sell and he sold it the only way he thought he could I am sure you werent upset when your guy was going from town to town humping the war. I got a letter from Michael Steele this morning...in it, this was the "pork" he highlighted. $160 million to pay "volunteers" at the Corporation for National and Community Service. $45 million dollars for the removal of fish passage barriers. $248 million to buy furniture for the Department of Homeland Security. With all the resources of the GOP this is all he could come up with...man, what distasteful bastards. In this letter he talks about dems taking advantage of a crisis, all the while Obama is putting his presidency on the line with words and deeds, and even as this bill is clearly passing they are spreading cynical venom, further poisoning confidence...to what end? Al
