Somebody has been selling the HRPpB which now yields 18.5%. I have been waiting to buy some of the HRPpD shares on any move down but it now yields less than the preferred B shares. I believe the D shares are a convertible preferred and the B shares are superior to the D shares.

I thought it might be nice to have the convertible option but now perhaps the safety in the superior B shares might be a better bet. My last buy was a starter position of the B shares on 12/26/08 @ $12.20 (18.5%). It shows the low for the day at @ $11.30.

I am thinking of buying a few of the B shares for the IRA.
The spreads are large and the equity is thinly traded. The low is around $9.00 back on 11/20/2008.
