I don't understand the premise behind "the fairness doctrine" at all. Presumably, any profitable topic will find a home on radio, just as it does on tv and print media.

If left wing talk isn't profitable, there is no fair way to force it.

This is a tenet at the core of the First Amendment

Except that the Fairness Doctrine is also compelled speech, which is generally unconstitutional.

Perhaps Obama should re-enact the Fairness Doctrine within his own press corps selections?
