The whole bounce looked darn artificial, and somehow totally obvious today. Well then, I took it. It was like firing on all cylinders... currencies, yields, banking stocks wherevery one looked. To add, if something like outlawing CDSs would be enacted then this could destabilise things in a rush, or, make lending much harder as there are no easy ways to lay off risk (well, shorting stocks is the alternative way). I am not sure whether the market likes the idea to take out another important instrument. The last try in October, abolishing short selling clearly backfired.
