former presidential advisor David Gergen says Obama should appoint a highly regarded CEO to be Secretary of Commerce...Gergen says it's a mistake to put a professional politician in that post -- I tend to agree.

In the Senate, Gregg was the leading Republican author of the TARP program while he had a multi-million dollar investment in the Bank of America.
