rbstfacts.org Those are the facts from the dairy industry and the US government that approved rBST. I know they want to be balanced- but I doubt they can be. For a really balanced approach, read your source, and then read about Canada- dsp-psd.pwgsc.gc.ca Which does not allow rBST. It might be safe, but why make yourself a guinea pig when you don't have to be one? Don't get me wrong- I don't care if you ingest rbst or not- but it isn't as clear cut as the site you posted says it is.

LB, Unfortunately, the arguments these opponents have put forward in their attempts to persuade others to their point of view have not always been based in scientific fact, or have constituted misunderstandings or distortions of scientific fact. Those asserting the safety and efficacy of rbST – including scientific institutions, government authorities and the dairy and pharmaceutical industries – have seen their reassurances dismissed and their credibility attacked. The debate between these two sides has played out largely in a news media that thrives on conflict and takes little responsibility for ascertaining and reporting the facts. All I would ask for is truth in labeling, and let consumer make his choice with his own dollars. Cheaper (hopefully) hormone treated, or more expensive hormone free... Joe
