Actually the BEST stimulus would have been just sending $6000 to every taxpaying household.

The stimulus bill would have been about the SAME amount and it would have pretty instantly increased consumer spending and avoided mortgage, credit card and auto loan defaults.

They could have just sent it out to taxpaying households earning less than $100K and it would have probably been $9000 and it would have had a much more stimulative affect.
