<<Yours is the opinion of a foreigner>>

Yes it is, and if you go back in the posts you will see that i was reffering to this link on the Taiwanese health care system. Message 24594267
as ..""...far superior to anything in the world, in my opinion.""

Do you have any opinions on Taiwan healthcare system?

<<Canadian citizens come to America for live saving procedures when your system fails>>

Yes we do, and as stated many times before,on this thread , your system loves cash paying customers .,, cash and free marketeering is the American way!!!Except for your banks lately.

<<Canadians are free riders on America's pharmaceutical expenditures.>>

Lol, we have been over this one dozens of times on this thread. Many, many countries, not only America, are on the leading edge of break through pharmaceuticals and no need to prove this again.Shucks, here is another tiny example. responsebio.com

<< If you were smart you would oppose the destruction of the American system which props up your own.>>

Yes, if your system changed, you would lose those cash paying Canadian customers and our system might be forced into improving also.

I would like to see the Canadian system adopt some of the innovations in the Taiwan system to make our system better. Keeping personal records on your personal health care card, for example, updated with each visit to doctor or specialist.Of course getting completely off paper records and going completely digital as your president Obama wants, would be first step to personal health card.
