not really. He is a loose cannon. Half the battle is reasserting american optimism. Without it every stimulus will fail. Repubs are out there beating the mental depression drums. They are playing on small c conservativism of a majority of americans who have the protestant work ethic and are kind of nervous of this huge debt. And then you get krugman on the left depressing guys like you and john and me. Get it thru our heads, obama stim will work only if american people believe in it and start acting in their daily lives with a sense of optimism again. Otherwise krugman is right and its way too small or the repubs are right that we will bankrupt our country without benefit.
