A better characterization is, "I don't know where Obama's loyalties lie". And it isn't the point of the day; it has been the point since he became a serious contender.

Yes.

It was a rarity when they weren't. Hitler saw the state as everything being subordinate to the Leader. And he also saw companies as being small models of the state, where everyone was subordinate to the boss. Hitler avidly courted business leaders, and provided free workers from the concentration camps.

"For populist reasons, labor unions were courted to compete with communists."

He made some noises about that. But, he saw the labor unions as socialist entities and shut them down, imprisoning the leaders when he came to power.
