Redistricting is ok. However, the last one we had left us with one district that started on the coast and meanders its way almost to Austin, over 400 miles. We have others that are narrow strips traversing similar distances, spanning very diverse constituencies.

No, redistricting is fine as long as it's more or less fair. I don't in fact know if the way the Dems did it in MD was fair.

But, what I can say is that longnshort getting upset that Edwards hasn't yet visited his county, which makes up a sliver of her district, when she just got elected, isn't fair.

Hell, I don't care how conservative you want to be... you shouldn't listen to longnshort.
