Once again, you come up with an extreme example and think you have a point to make based on it. But you can't compare someone doing a study on WoW (which, might make sense in some context but is neither here nor there) to, say, urban planning research or disease research, both of which would certainly be great uses of stimulus money.

I don't get why you can't understand the difference between spending that has a positive effect on society and spending that's wasteful.

If you were running a business, would you just keep all of your money in the bank?
