11 grams of fish oil daily that has 3000mgs of EPA/DHA in it. 1500mg of SloNiacin a day. My lipid numbers are suspect right now because of my continuing weight loss.

i think you should be prepared for a lot of resistance from your Doc. It is good to be well prepared, and not seem like you are attacking him.

I would suggest you request a thyroid test also.
