silence the opposition, eliminating any voice of those that "get it". Those that get it now, and those that discover Obama, Pelosi, and Reid are not what they expected.

When the President stoops to demonizing the voices of opposition it means the President knows his propaganda is easily undercut. Every time he attacks any of the voices from the center or from the right he is sending the clear message they are required to balance his power.
