I think there will be a golden period when the economies of the world begin to recover but there will not be a substantial increase in energy prices. Why? It looks to me that too many people are expecting and therefore betting on oil price rising.
The prolonged low price of oil will help the economic recovery of oil-deficient places such as China, India, Europe.
At last we have a high IQ US president, also a person of good will. World wide we see an increase in education and an explosion of science. If we look ahead 4-5 years, the scene looks great, IMHO. After that when oil REALLY peaks, the alternate wind, sun, wave, geothermal sources will be ready.
