SOME READING FROM AOL.....

I have just got off the ph. with Wavetech, I wanted to verify if they had started testing in the AIPC concession.
They told me they would not and could not confirm a date they would start the testing.
They would however tell me they have "not" started any testing at this time.
I also asked them if they could confirm ,that they had done the same type of, geological and siesmic testing for the former Russian oil companies.
He did say it was the same type of testing.
I also asked him if this obviously could shorten the time it would take to confirm or disclaim what the fields hold.He confirmed it definitly would.
But he also warned me that this process takes some time to finish,it is ''not" a task that is accomplished over night,

I also tried to get him to give me his "expert opinion"on AIPN and ther concession, he said in no uncertain terms that he could not do that.
He did however say that I could use my "common sense" and come to my own conclussion, they(AIPN) are completely surrounded by some of largest oil companies
in the world, that have huge oil reserves that are confirmed.
I feel very good about my conversation with him, I believe we are in good shape.

Why would a major just hand over huge sums of cash before the science has been confirmed by some exploratory drilling? A major could say I'll give you the dough, but lets see what you really have first. The term "potential" just doesn't cut it.

One problem with your logic. If they wait until exploratory drilling and more accurate proven oil amounts are calculated, the price of partnering skyrockets. The major can get in more cheaply now, if they are confident in the findings of an unbiased third party surveyor such as Wavetech who has 20+ years of experience analyzing Soviet data.

Its always a risky game for major oil drillers, but the thought of could of, would of, should of--- may haunt them if the finds are indeed massive.
