I agree, but wasteful spending is wasteful spending.

The very size of the economic "stimulus" bill that just passed already exceeds the entire cost of the Iraq war. This isn't some "splendid little adventure" in some foreign lands. This is perhaps the greatest expansion of federal government since FDR.
