I ain't no guru but my perception is that we are headed for global hyper-inflation. If that, in fact, is the case has there ever been such a thing? I don't think so. Globalization is what has made it possible.

Some thoughts:

1). Speaks very clearly, to me, of the One World Order concept.

2). Be careful what you wish for.

3). We are constantly reminded of the perils of isolationism but isn't a little bit a good thing? Do we really want international bankers telling us how to run our business? I think it is a very tangled web and I think we have been deceived. I'd trade a little less growth to avoid a Depression any day.

Reagan was on the right track with his Star Wars idea. We could have withdrawn all our troops and lived happily ever after producing our own goods and services. But, oh no, he was ridiculed for having the idea. That would never be allowed because then there could not be a World Order.

Not one "guru" has been consistently correct.

With due respect, that is simply nonsense. That is the excuse Wall Street and brokerage firms use to explain to people where half their money/retirement went. Many people saw it coming, most chose to turn a blind eye.

I don't consider myself a guru. I'm not even a professional investor. But I made money in the stock market last year and I'm up so far this year. It wasn't luck. I read ferociously. I learn from people much smarter than I am. I pay attention to what I see rather than to people who are trying to sell me something. I accept my own frailties and take responsibility for my mistakes. I try to learn from my mistakes so I don't repeat them.

Maddoff bilked many gullible investors but not nearly as many as are deceived and separated from their money every day because they are lazy and gullible.

best...
