I have to tell you, my business is better than ever. We can't keep up. But I did encounter my first layoff last week -- a kid I know in NYC who was in the banking business got laid off. While in Vegas last week I had a long conversation with a commercial contractor out of Atlanta. He said they were starting to feel it, mostly from residential contractors starting to bid against them making the bid process more intense. But it didn't stop him from being in Vegas playing $25/hand video poker.
