He did not mean hate in an Elroyan sense. He is translating a Chinese concept into English, and used the word hate.

He does not grasp nuances.

The totally opposite of this was Clinton denying having sex with Monica.

When you read foreigners uttering something complex, one need to read carefully.

What he was saying is: Although we got fucked having put our money into USD, we need to be fucked even more since there are no alternatives.
