Yep!

(This coming week will be very interesting. Supposedly GM and Chrysler are coming back to Congress to say: either give us more money RIGHT NOW or else we will file Chapter 11 bankruptcy.)

I say: when they say THAT we (the government) should FORCE them into bankruptcy (by exercising our loan rights to demand immediate repayment of the previous loans) which will allow us to SPEED UP the bankruptcy process (and force it to move in the direction we desire) by telling the bankruptcy court that we will loan the companies "debtor in possession financing" to bring them out of bankruptcy - after they are shorn of all that overhead.

It will allow us to call the shots, fire the management, break the dealer contracts, give the unions a "this is how it is" set of instructions, etc.

Call the management's bluff and double-down.
