That can't possibly be right. An ounce of salmon has more saturated fat than that. So does a spoonful of cod liver oil. He must mean grams, not milligrams.

Good catch. Even at 10 grams per day, it is way too low. That's 90 calories. I imagine that on low carb diet, fat intake can be in 900 calorie range. Suppose a paleoletic man ate 900 calories in fat. What percentage of that would be saturated? I think at least 1/3 - meaning 37 grams.

I don't know if this is Dr. Davis making this recommendation, or if he is just quoting this from somewhere, but it does not make much sense...
