Brumar believes we can gestate babies in test tubes. I would like to alert the media if Brumar can provide verification of this fact.

The unbilical cord is there to provide nutrients to the growing child. It doesn't make the child part of her body, though of course it is dependent on it. For that matter, babies are totally dependent on their parents even after birth.
