Haim, Elmat cited an article in the conservative Daily Telegraph. The article sounded pretty reasonable to me. I doubt shadowstats is more reliable than the Daily Telegraph.

I am pretty convinced that European banks are in much deeper trouble than US banks, and the EU and ECB need a radical restructuring pronto to avoid meltdown.
