Go further back in the thread. CJ claimed, "The higher the profit margin, the lower the percentage that go to wages."

Intel has higher profit margins than AMD; therefore Intel must be paying its workers less.


That still doesn't make sense. AMD has no profit margin. That's why you wouldn't want to work there. It shouldn't even be considered in this discussion.

And there is another interpretation to what CJ is saying besides your take that a good profit margin means a company doesn't pay its employees much. A good profit margin also can mean a company that does pay its employees well but it is very 'lean' when it comes to the numbers on its payroll.
