I Fergot about that Ripple - But as long as we is talkin' about cheap 'wino wines' - I think I got you trumped: MD 20/20 Footnotes & chit: Muskatel - is a highly sweet strong wine that takes away the desire for food because of its high sweet/sugar content & was the preferred choice of wino's post WWII. Ripple - Strong Cheap wine - best bang fer the buck and especially the choice in the late 60s to early 80s: Wino wine of choice- MD 20/20 - 20% alchohol in sugary syrup accomplished both of the above... P.S. The U.S. wino public today drinks White Wines - they are sweet & cheap & drinkable.
