I would say you are in the minority if you haven't heard of the University of Nevada. Apparently they didn't teach you much at the University of Michigan.

I've attended universities all over the place. Some you've heard of, some you haven't. I honestly can't tell the difference. They all have good and bad professors. And I've had better math teachers at a community college than I had studying Operations Research under a big-shot PhD from UT. So, I wouldn't get too balled up about where a person got his education. I don't give a crap.

What he said made absolute sense and was sufficient to get him an oped in the WSJ. So, I'm good with that.

BTW, some very accomplished people have come out of the University of Nevada at Reno including a number of Pulitzer winners.

So take your educational elitism and stick it where the sun doesn't shine. And thank god the propagation of knowledge isn't dependent on Ivy-league nitwits, because we'd be stuck in a liberal hellhole were that the case.
