As they say, ordinary people do not murder - murderers are a small minority of extreme antisocial aberrants who manage to obtain guns whatever the level of gun ownership in their society. Exactly correct... we don't need more laws, we simply need to enforce the laws we already have... but, most of the time the court system gives a pass to the worst kinds of antisocial cretins who manage to go back onto the street and commit more crime... if all guns were banned from the planet, then those same cretins would use a knife... it's not the instrument that needs to be controlled, it's the criminals themselves...
