Manny - I agree with you. Is he too smart or too stupid? I think he may be to uneducated. Yup - the man of degrees is too . He is uneducated in the means of real world production. He has never had a real job that I can see. He has never had to produce "stuff". Yet he is trying to set economic policy for the country. Being uneducated means he does not see how stupid the people are that he has delegated authority to - eg Nancy and Harry.

I know - we have pictures of him with Warren Buffet and corporate CEOs. He talks the talk - but in the end - who does he listen to?

Someday someone like Buffet will say they do not buy into this nonsense.

I submit that he is not stupid or smart - he is uneducated.

Bob

My observation is that he did have difficulty when trying to deliver a scripted package written by others. On the other hand, he often seemed brilliant on his feet speaking extemporaneously.

It is not that difficult to speak extemporaneously from a script. Reagan was a master at it. Clinton also did it.

GWB was ill advised by someone to always use the script. It was apparent that his strong suit was to speak Crawford, Texas style. He should have stayed with it and made his "speeches" more like a town hall gathering.

I remember one of the debates against Gore where they went to a town hall method. GWB had Gore rattled early on and he won the debate handily.

It just may be that Obama IS looking inward, and having no base of American History, is set on righting the so called injustices of centuries past.

So far, he seems set to do exacly as he pleases, is arrogant beyond belief, and has been raised with an "entitlement" expectation. By not including the Republicans in an honest-to-goodness smart-and-forward-thinking stimulus bill, he has encouraged an honest-to-goodness smelly, slimy, 3 reems of paper (times thousands of copies to send out equalling millions more dollars of taxpayer expense) that does nothing except try to fund his idea of entitlements.

He and the Dems should be ashamed of themselves.

Obama is too smart for his own good. He does not know or feel the need to look inward.
